Question 1:  Is there a charge for children?
Answer :  There will be no charge for children under the age of two, however, if a crib is requested there is an additional charge.


Question 2 :  How much is parking and can I reserve a parking stall.?
Answer :  The Breakers Hotel offers parking at no charge and is limited to six stalls on a first come first served basis (no reserve parking.)When parking is not available there are nearby parking facilities


Question 3 : Is there transportation from the airport to The Breakers Hotel?
Answer : Transportation service to Waikiki is available for hire outside the airport baggage claim areas. Shuttle service have rates starting at $11.00 per person and taxi service is approximately $40.00.


Question 4 :  What time is check in time?
Answer :  Check-in time is anytime, if your arrival at the Honolulu airport is in the early morning, please call us to ask if the room will be available for early occupancy.


Question 5 :  What time is check out and can I arrange a late check out time?
Answer :  Check out time is 12:00 noon, please check with the front desk on the morning of your departure date to check if a late check out is available at a charge, or if you wish, we can hold your luggage in our lobby till your departure time.


Question 6 :  I need driving directions from the Honolulu Airport to The Breakers.
Answer :  The easiest way to arrive to The Breakers Hotel by car is to proceed on Nimitz Highway from the airport area. This highway can be found easily from the car rental area located near the airport. Nimitz highway will turn into Ala Moana Boulevard as you drive toward Waikiki. Ala Moana Boulevard will run into Kalakaua Avenue (one way, you will be taking a right), you will then proceed on Kalakaua Avenue and make a right onto Beach Walk. Our address is 250 Beach Walk and located on the right side on Beach Walk.


Question 7 :  How large in size are your accommodations and when was the last time the hotel was refurbished?
Answer :  All units are larger than your average hotel room and The Breakers Hotel was refurbished in 1986 and is continuously maintained.


Question 8 :  What is the smoking policy at The Breakers Hotel?
Answer :  The Breakers Hotel is a non-smoking hotel and smoking is prohibited in accordance to Hawaii State Law.


Question 9 :  Do you offer a weekly or monthly rate?
Answer :  We do not offer weekly nor monthly rates; only daily rates.


Question 10 :  Do any of the accommodations have a bathtub or a Jacuzzi?
Answer :  We do not offer bathtubs nor a Jacuzzi; only showers.


Question 11: To insure a firm booking The Breakers Hotel requests a credit card number. Do you charge the credit card and what is your cancel policy?

Answer : To insure a firm booking a credit card number is applied to your reservation as a guarantee only. We do not charge your credit card. We require a fourteen day cancellation notice for the months of December, January, February and March, otherwise a 72 hour notice is required to avoid a penalty charge of one nights tariff.


Question 12 :  What credit cards do you accept?

Answer : We accept the American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Diners, JCB and Discover credit cards.


 

Question 13 : How far in advance shall I allow to make reservations for the Winter season?

Answer : You should make reservations as soon as possible for the Winter months. It is not uncommon for reservations being made a year in advance.


Question14 : Do you have an internet access?

Answer : Wireless internet is accessible at The Breakers at no charge from the access point at the front lobby area and covers the surrounding poolside area. The front desk staff will provide you with a password.
