 敷地内の岩壁メンテナンスのために一時的に閉園となっていたオアフ島ノースショアの人気観光スポットであるワイメアバレーが、今日より公園の一般開放を再開することが明らかになった。 ワイメアバレーでは訪問者の安全確保のため、16日間にわたって敷地内の岩壁の補修工事を実施。当初の予定では、公園の再オープンは今月末ごろになるとみられていたものの、工事が予定より早く進行したため、当初より早めの再オープンが可能になったとしている。
