 ハワイ島の超高級コミュニティとして知られているフアラライリゾートで、新たに高級物件17戸の建設計画が浮上していることが明らかになった。 関係者は、フアラライリゾートの開発等を行っている投資家がリゾート内の6.6エーカーの土地を900万ドルで購入しており、今後、販売価格が500万ドルから900万ドルほどの高級物件が建設、販売される見通しであるとしている。 なお、フアラライリゾート内にある住宅の現在の平均販売価格は、昨年の770万ドルから約200万ドル増の970万ドルで、物件購入者の多くは、米西海岸、コロラド州、ニューヨーク州、日本の投資家となっている。
