アラモアナの老舗靴専門店が来月末で閉店
オアフ島最大のショッピングセンター、アラモアナ・センター1階にある老舗靴専門店のスリッパ・ハウスが、来月末で閉店することが明らかになった。スリッパ・ハウスはアラモアナ・センターの開店時に開業した店舗で、54年間にわたって市民に親しまれていた。 スリッパ・ハウスのオーナーであるグレン・ウエジオ氏は閉店の理由として「昨年の11月に、アラモアナ・センターの所有者であるジェネラル・グロウス・プロパティ社よりリース契約の解約の申し出があり、リタイアすることを決めました」とし、現在、従業員19名の新たな雇用先を探していると話した。
