ハワイ5-Oのシーズン5製作が決定

 米CBSは昨日、ハワイを舞台にしている人気ドラマ「ハワイ5-O」の新シーズンとなるシーズン5の製作を行うと発表した。CBSではこのほか、「NCIS~ネイビー犯罪捜査班」や「CSI科学捜査班」、「クリミナル・マインド」などの人気18番組の制作を行うとしている。 現在放映中のハワイ5-Oのシーズン4は、昨年9月より、放映時間を月曜日から金曜日に変更したことでさらに人気を集め、現在、同時間帯に放映されている番組の中でもっとも高い視聴率を獲得しており、マーケティングリサーチを行っているニールセン社は、同番組の平均視聴者数は約980万人にのぼるとしている。

 ハワイで撮影されている米人気ドラマの「ハワイ5-O」の撮影でも利用されたこともある人気カキ氷店「ワイオラシェイブアイス」が3店舗目の開業を計画している。 島内3店舗目となる新店舗は、ワード地区にあるワード・センター内で、開業時期などの詳しい詳細は明らかになっていない。 ワイオラシェイブアイスは現在、モイリイリ地区のワイオラ通り、カパフル地区のモキハナ通りで営業を行っている。

 ハワイの大手航空会社であるハワイアン航空は昨日、今年7月1日より就航を予定していたマウイ島とロサンゼルス間を結ぶ定期便の就航日を、5月2日に変更すると明らかにした。 ハワイアン航空のピーター・イングラム氏は「マウイ島とロサンゼルス間を結ぶ定期便は需要が高く、今回、新定期便の就航日を2カ月ほど早めることを決定しました。また当社では、6月30日より、8週間限定でマウイとロサンゼルスを結ぶ季節限定便の運行も行います」との声明を発表している。  ハワイアン航空では、新たにマウイとロサンゼルスを結ぶ定期便を2便を就航することで、175,000席以上の座席を提供できるとしている。
